the moral of the story is you don't need caps, optima batteries, and expensive wire to have a good electrical system. it's just the stubborness that made me into a lounge lizard. the money people spend on a cap and optima, they could have basically got a new alt. what does your electrical system read at the amp?

If this was directed at me then it reads 14.55 or higher at both of the power input terminals. (talking about both my 4ch and my monoblock here)

I get around 14.7 or so around the amps....or 14.9 on a real cold day.

I know, my Louisianian brother. I catch flack from so many people about driving an 11 year old Geo...and to tell the truth, I know it's a dowdy little car.
