finally got it to work

Stinger SC201MNC 1 farad monitor-top capacitor. You can't tell it when it is unpowered but the display is blue rather than red, there's a blue neon ring that circles the monitor-top and the LEDs to either side of the voltage display cycle one direction or the other depending on the direction of current flow either into or out of the cap.

It was a raffle win that I never needed...

I actually don't wanna sell it currently, 'Villian. I keep envisioning a cool-looking install using it for all the bright blue lights it has on it (I already have blue neon in the trunk so this would match well) but I'm too lazy to go rip everything out of the car and get started on it.

Seeing as it was free...well, a dollar raffle ticket so may as well have been free.

But seeing as I will be moving overseas sometime......(soon, I hope!) I guess the proposed install will have to wait until I get a car over there *shrug*
