The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky .... Absolutely incredible book. If you have an intellectual grip of any sort (I'm far from an "intellectual" but I definitely can appreciate it at any rate), you should definitely go out and purchase this book.

I preferred 1984 over BNW, but they were both good reads.

It's about alot of things... i don't know how to explain it.

It's about the intricacies of human conversation, eloquence, relationships, life, the world, art, culture, anything and everything nonfictional, completely fictionalized and completely beautiful.

Yeah... like i said you can't read it all at once anyway. I've been reading small bits and pieces here and there for inspiration is really what it comes down to over the past year or so.

The book is written on two levels: on the surface it is the story of a patricide in which all of the murdered man's sons share varying degrees of complicity but, on a deeper level, it is a spiritual drama of the moral struggles between faith, doubt, reason, and free will.
