ok heres the deal....

right now i have....(or it is on its way)

pioneer avh-p6600dvd

orion 2500d

18" 4HP

$750 cash

wasnt going to install the 18" cause i have to have a box custom made for my trunk that will be $250(5ft^3 w/ 110^2 in. of port)

id also need an alternator($275) and a yellow top for the trunk($150)

so should i buy the alt, the batt., and the box or should i do something else?

right now i have 2 12" RF P1's that i got for free since the 18 wouldnt fit but they definitely wont be in long....let me have some opinions.

Alt + batt = needs to be done regardless...

King - if you know you need the alternator and whatnot I'd go ahead and get it now. That way - once the box is done and you get the 18 in there and have the amp to drive it with wired up and all you'll immediately be able to make full use of it rather than starving the amp for current until you can get the alty sorted out at some future point....you'll already have it done FTW //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i was kind of thinking that...but my local audio shop has a 67" flat screen that they only want $1000 delivered into my living room:yumyum: it was one of there demo models, but i really want to finish this d*mn stereo once.

yeah its expensive but the only way to get it in there is to build it inside the trunk...which i could definitely not do.

I use XP and run the latest software.Ive never reformatted that i know of.

I can overclock this bad boy since ive got WAY more than adequate cooling for it (4 fans) but that wont make my internet any faster.
