Anyone got an old tape deck laying around that works and you've got no use for? It's not the pc I am using currently but my personal 'puter is even worse, Eldorado. (Mine's currently in storage 'cause it is such a dinosaur)

With over 300meg of PC100 RAM //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I haveto admit it has been reliable as a rock - I installed Win98se on it over the top of a previous Win95 install and I have never had to reformat it a single time in over 5 years now since the OS was 'updated.'

She's slow but she keeps on chugging right along....

I use XP and run the latest software.

Ive never reformatted that i know of.

I can overclock this bad boy since ive got WAY more than adequate cooling for it (4 fans) but that wont make my internet any faster.

Ive got a stock chrysler tape deck. Its DIN 1.5. Pretty much garbage

I might have an Alpine CDM 7874, CD player //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif...Ill be back up north friday PM me if your interested...Id let you have it for next to nothing say like 5 bucks or so...It does however need a wire harness.

Eldorado - thanks for the reply but I think it would be a bit hard to fit a 1.5 DIN unit into a single-DIN size opening and I can't see that my bosses would be terribly impressed if I hacked up the dash of their truck (no matter how crappy said truck is)

18" 4HP

$750 cash

wasnt going to install the 18" cause i have to have a box custom made for my trunk that will be $250(5ft^3 w/ 110^2 in. of port)

id also need an alternator($275) and a yellow top for the trunk($150)

so should i buy the alt, the batt., and the box or should i do something else?

right now i have 2 12" RF P1's that i got for free since the 18 wouldnt fit but they definitely wont be in long....let me have some opinions.
