Well, the amp does what....1494 @ 4ohm? So, *in theory* it should do 747 @ 8ohm. Split the difference; it *should* do around 1120w @ 6ohm.

The birthsheet on mine is a little lower...around 1.45kW.

So I'd be looking at close to 400W per driver. Not ideal, but it might do...

I was also wondering about how the Tantrum does outside 2-4 ohms... so I called up PG tech support and they told me that after 4 ohms it starts to act like a normal amp and should put out around 700 watts @ 8 ohms... so squeak is probably right.

I come in to this lab to check some internet stuff real quick and this is the only open PC.
