Not allowed to cancel an auction or sell locally off of eBay once it's listed.

Think about it, he used eBay's site to "advertise" an item but by ending it early he avoids their fee.....so he basically STOLE advertising space from eBay. It's wrong and he needs to pay. I bet he has em anyway, just doesn't want to let em go for the price you got.
