it's a long story. it was a chunk of 2x4. basically guy attacks me with stick, i steal his stick, and beat guy with his own stick.

Thats not self defense? Did they charge you with anything?

If they do, say that you were defending yourself and that you were making sure he was subdued, so that he wouldnt attack you again, because he was still coming at you once you took his weapon.

yes, but they are saying i went above and beyond self-defense. when the cops arrived, i was ontop of him pummeling him with a piece of wood and i don't have a mark on me. it's all on camera so i'm not worried
