I can't see me going anywhere that might be described as a campground on 40-series 17" tires...
Necessity for paved roads ftl?

Mine are 235/40/17 on the stock wheels.. I go (almost) anywhere.. Some places we go are hours down dirt roads.. That's why I'm not too interested in getting blingy rims.. The stock wheels look good enough anyways in classic 5 spoke silver.. Although, I REALLY would like to buy a beater truck instead just for such occasions.. I tend to take it really easy on the backroads, which usually just means I'm always the last one to arrive..

Yours are a bit taller. I had to go with 205/40R17s to keep my speedometer reading and gear ratio the same as with a stock tire (car had 14s when i bought it)

Anyways, I gotta finish getting the last of the little things packed up.. I got 2 princesses to pick up in the morning too that are riding with.. This is gonna be one of the biggest bashes of the year.. We've do this trip every year, but I think this year is gonna be the best trip yet.. Lots of ppl coming this year..
