Has nothing to do with paranoia and everything to do with hating to be woken up by the doorbell. I looked out the window and saw who it was before going to the door to answer it which is why I picked up my gun and jacked the clip out of it before I walked into the living room.
As I opened the door but before I could open the screen door I made a big show of shoving the clip back in the gun.

one time they rang to doorbell at our house and my dad so "okay fellas i wanna hear this shit come on in" they came in and my mom got them some water and my dad says "okay guys what is it you want me to know" they both said "i dunno we never made it this far" i lmao.
