not sure exactly what the problem w/ your car might be.....but it does sound like it is related to your amp....hope its not craping out on you.....not sure what to tell you about the other problem.....other than if u can fill the space w/ some kind of deadener.....or something like that.....

I'm gonna borrow a digital camera and try to take a picture to put up here, Ive never seen anything like this, why would they have a rubber flap letting air out of the trunk? and the only place it would look like it would be accessed from is from the spare tire well.I'm going to call Cadillac tomorrow and see what its for. its on both sides. it feels like its made out of the material that whoopee cushions are made of, that rubber, and it sounds just like a whoopee cushion.

Ahh i know what that is.

Its to let the air out of your vehicle.

When you crank up the interior fans and close all your doors they will let air expell from them.

EVERY car has those.

I had some dremel fun yesterday.

I took the drywall cutting bit and took a fried CD rom and mangled it to bits.

it was cool, i melted the plastic and made lots of noise
