Ive been searchign for that thread about the stolen magnums, couldnt find it, is there anything new with that? like what SI is going to do or find out who did it or anything?
finish the main part of the trunk lid and behind the license plate, sounds good. But i have a big question and kind of weird, before someone told me about a rattlign from under the trunk of our cars (devilles) i foudn out what it is today, there is like some kind of air pocket or something that has a rubber covereing. When the bass hits the rubber flap...flaps, theres one on each side, i dont have a digital camera so i cant show you but its about 5-8 inches long and about inch and half wide, from feeling it. Anyone know what i can do about this?
no screws, clips or anything, seems like it is bracheted into the side of teh actual trunk, cant get to it from the inside. "upon further inspection" i foudn another flap right above the first one i felt, so its about 7 inches wide and 4-5 inches tall, 2 rubber flaps. doesnt look like it can be removed without breaking something
my system is always acting weird, now i have to turn the volume up to around 28-30 to get the same sound that i used to only have to turn it up to 18-20. What the hell is going on now.....
seems like its just the sub that is changed, im thinkin its my amp, my amp has been weird lately, but i cant really find whats going on with it. it just seems like my sub is not as loud as it used to be yesterday. I dont know, im gonna play some songs. It just sounds completely different.
You know how when your ears ring? Well thats the sound thats coming through my sub (except a lower tone), unplug rca still there, unplug remote = gone, unhook sub from amp, gone. Im almost sure its the amp, ive only heard a sound similar to this one time, and it was right before my friends amp blew, but his jsut stopped playing after that, mine just seems lower, no other differences. any input from anyone?
Hope its nothing too serious. This aint my year for electronics. Im tryint o avoid startin a thread about this. But it doesnt seem like too many people read this thread to help people.
next time i am goin for cheap so it wont be too much of a loss if it breaks. first the head unit, then the alarm, now the amp, and the things that havent broken or had any problems yet, is the rockford stuff.
