I feel a fraction of your pain. I was in a long distance relationship once, nowhere near as serious as yours, hence the fraction of me knowing what you are going through. THat sucks. But think of how sad all of us (forum members, especially me) will be when you leave us for your wife. There's no way to know when the Australian Dept Of Immigration will decide to process my spousal visa application. Hence why she and I have been considering my just going over there and waiting until it gets processed - the downside to that is I wouldn't be able to work legally until the paperwork came through and that would drive me freggin CRAZY not being able to work.

No, it tastes like kangaroo. Never tasted anything like it before I had a 'roo steak (medium rare, tyvm!) at a restaurant there in Adelaide where my wife lives.

The real upside to it is that the Australian dollar is worth less than the US dollar so you'll have more money when ya land in Australia than you did when you left the US FTW!!!
