i bet i have the cheapest rent on the forum (excluding living @ home with mom & dad)...$100 a month..two bedroom house with garage and fenced yard. heh and i think i just found some place to move after winter ends that will be free..older lady moving to be closer to her family...doesnt want her house to sit empty...so she said i could live there for free if i kept the heat on (pipes freeze here) and the mice out. I'm all over it..

the downside to my living situation is that I'm in south Dakota. Driving 125 miles round trip to get to a super market..school..or anything bigger than a gas station mini mart.

ah you do have your pro's and con's but i wouldnt mind living for free. so i can save up for a house or something.

 
that's not too bad. i was living in sedona when i lived in az. my friends where paying 2600/mo for a 3 bedroom 1 bath place. that's where my 830/mo place was. it was a studio apt with 2 bath and corner walled off for the office. it was in an industrial park ftw. no night time neighbors = great parties with no police involvement.

 
ill here a tip...dont move out with roommates..sucks ***...wait till you can afford to live alone. Being roomates 95% of the time means you wont be friends when its all over.
2nd get a fcking washer and dryer...laundry mat ftl..
yeah i know that, my friends been telling me dont move out with ne one unless your sure that they can pay rents for the 6 months lease or whatever. some places comes with washer and dryer in unit.

who was the person who did the signing and stuff and whats his credit score? and how did it work with getting the house?

 
lofts or studio space is tits..but apartment complexes ****...having little ghetto babies waking you up all early and shit...running around the parking lots...or even better yet running across the floor of their aparetment...thats right above your bedroom...@ 6:30 am....when your hung over..grr @ ghetto babies...forced sterilization ftw...

the house i'm in now?

i went to a mortgage broker and did all the paperwork for a loan just to see what would happen. my credit score is 600-650 depending on which place you look it up at(rough time after a motorcycle wreck a few years back). i applied for a 125k loan and got pre-approved for it. after that i spent a few months looking every now and then for a good deal. when one came up, my pre-approved status got my into a contract quickly.

 
trying too but the houses 1b1b and condos or town houses are around 100k-140k. with is like less then 1k sqft. dunno if its worth it.
if your still in school rent a house..dont buy yet..who knows where you will want to move when you graduate and are looking for work. Just look for a rental house in the ghetto..i

ah ic. well my credit score isnt that high since i didt buy a car or whatever. and i didt pay anything in interest.
