some women don't want to compete against men... they play generally different games, and different styles, but those taht are willing to play 'up' to the mens game should be allowed to,...

men CAN compete against women... in these leagues... the so called mens leagues... they are open leagues.... read tehir rules...

 

i'm still waiting for you to give me a GOOD reason why they shouldnt be allowed to play "I don't want them too" doesn't count... go ahead, i dare you to find a good reason....

I've given you reasons as to why I'm against women being in the NBA NFL NHL MLB. Have you ever played against a girl in any of these sports? I have at the YMCA. You can't post them up because you are afraid they may get hurt. You don't play your best defense on them because you know they can't score on you when you bring your best defense, so you slack off. Why do you slack off, so that her team mates don't start yelling at her. You begin to play in a passive state. You don't shoot the ball or score to much because you don't want to show her up. You know you can score at will. These same things will happen in all of the sports I listed above. You admitted that some women don't want to play against men. So shouldn't it be the same that men don't want to play women in the sports I have listed. My problem is that I see a double standard that you continue to ignore. Get rid of women's leagues so that there are only unisexual leagues. You will then see why there is a separation between men and women's sports.

Oh and it's their choice to play with the men, but who's going to get a lawsuit claiming that the man was trying to hurt me. So don't try to say that men and women are equally skilled in sports until women's leagues are eleminated and there is only head to head competition.

I still think that you hold in your mind an unfarily baised view of female athletes... i'm waiting for the day you get schooled by a girl... then we'll see... I play baseball, I also umpire baseball, at a fairly high amateur level... there are a number of teams who have girls on them here... for instance, this team just this past summer had a young lady on their team... she pitched, caught, and palyed shortstop and third... batter cleanup no less... their team won the provincial... over the weekend, she was hit by a number of pitches, run a couple times, hita couple bombs, made some incredible plays, and threw one of the msot dominating pitching performances I have witnessed to date... when she got run, the coaches went "cmon! they're doing it cause she's a girl!" what was her response? "go sit down coach, im fine, they wnat to paly rough? i'll stick the next one in their ear"... don't giveme any weaker *** BS...

Let's take the best women's college team against the best men's high school team. I guarantee the men's high school team would win. These seniors in high school on the top of the list are as big as college players. If you could find someone that could prevent me from posting up in the WNBA it because they are 6-11" or taller. There is no woman my height that would be able to stop me from posting up 6-1". Instead of posting them up I would just go around them as someone that is 6-11" is not nearly as quick as I am. I'm 19 years old and I can bench sets of 95 dumbells. I guarantee there are few woman that could do this without steroids. Remember I'm 19 and not in the NBA so you can imagine how strong they are. Yes top women can compete with below average to average men, but not top level athletes. WHy? It's called testosterone.

wonderbread. your arguement is valid. but, you are just thinking in terms of facts, and you are not using your brain.

see, you are right, there are no rules that say women can not compete in the nhl. but its an understood idea that they are not supposed to. its just accepted.

the reason there is no rule saying women cant compete, is because the rulemakers of the nhl never thought that women would be dumb enough to try. they didnt see a need for the rule because they didnt see a threat of it happening.

but in todays age, women, who DO have a place, are trying to become equal to men. which they are not. im not saying that women should be locked in cages and forced to make quilts, no. Women, as we all know, are a crucial part of EVERY society. but i am saying that God created men superior to women for a reason, and women shouldnt go trying to change they way God made us.

God just made a mistake on them.

Wonderbread, if you keep calling people, redneck, ignorant, cheovanist(or however you spell it) and whatever else, your not going to get the GOOD arguement you want. you will keep upsetting people and making them angry to where they dont want to have a decent conversational arguement, but they will say things to try and down you. its not the best way to go at things.

Buddy, I'm not trying to be mean. I'm stating known facts. I have stated in arguments that both men and women have their strengths. Women aren't as strong athletically, but are stronger in other areas. Read through my comments and you will see.
