you can get cool edit pro off kazaa. that has a tone generator. it also has a shit load of filters and you can boost the bass and what not.

I do make my own cds, but I have never made a bass/test cd like I want.....kinda like the cd peeps like alma gates used on their kicker vehicles.

There is a program I have that generates sine waves and test tones...the name of it is "NHC Tone Generator"...do a search on yahoo or something like that and download it...it's pretty sweet, I made some nice test tones the other day.

I mean is it easy to make tones and what not to test your subs....basically is it easy to use a tone generator program? I mean I dont know musical notes and how they sound high or low?

i dont think it would be hard at all...you probably just enter 30 Hz and it generates a 30 Hz tone. Might wanna ask someone besides me though...
