THE Thread

Its like a blog.

Until someone answers me.

What else is new? Im listening to luther vandross - stop to love, right now.

So if I do accept the job in japan or some other asian country, where would I live until I leave? FL with moms or MD, in an apartment? Then i cant have a presa de canario dog //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. But I get to have hot japanese girls. Which one would you pick?

I also cant take jasmine (the deville that's left) with me, so she'd be sitting all alone again. And by the time I came back she'd be 7 or 8 years old. Even though from 2000-2006 they all look the same. Still. Maybe I can finally buy a supra when i get there, my ex is now trying to become an exporter for cars. I know she wouldnt help me, she told me that to maybe make me keep in contact with her? Id rather have her father help me, he looks like Mr miyagi, seriously. I wish I had a picture so I could show youll.

Devil, I'd stay away from the '79 only because it'll cost a lot to keep it fixed. I love older cars and had 2 but **** they cost a lot in upkeep.

The ideal situation is to buy 2 cars. One old as a "toy" and a new one to rack up the miles. This is my goal for the future...... now to win the lotto......

Hahaha, thats why I want to take the job in Korea or Japan. My 85 cost a lot in upkeep, I should have stopped while I was ahead....before I rebuilt the transmission(had it rebuilt).....then teh head gaskets (stupid 4100). Thats exactly what Im thinking, I need a second car, I put 60k miles on this deville in 2 years. Need another car.

Yeah tools are good. My dad had a ton because he groud-up restored a '40 Ford Delux and bought everything to do it back in the early '80's. So I was able to keep the Scout up and runnin'.

But at some point you gotta go..... hmmm..... $2,500 for a nice rust free Scout....... $6k+ in self-repairs..... and it still needs $2k in paint..... a $2k+ engine rebuild..... probably a new clutch plate..... and the most I've ever seen one sell for (fully restored) was $8,000...... that's just being dumb.

Sure I loved the thing to death and up to a point cost was no object, but we live in the real world //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
