cannot figure out how to wire the HU on my scion...

i stripped off the stock wiring harness, only to find (after lots of research on scion tC boards) ..

that the "Right Front" speaker wire (for the stock stereo) and the "12v" wire are THE EXACT SAME COLOR.

how ******* wonderful !!!!

so i have no idea what to do. i'm very stuck right now.... is there any danger in just hooking one up and seeing if it works ? could anything go wrong ? DO NOT JUST GO RANDOMLY HOOKING UP WIRES

i would rig up a very ghetto test light to find the 12+

basically just get a low voltage light bulb, hook up one lead to the Ground wire and then touch the other with both of the same colored wires, whichever makes the bulb light up is the 12+ wire
