Very easy question

RF- *** great ************* to high

JL- *** great ************* to high

ID- *** great ************* fair

RE- *** great ************* fair

AA- *** great ************* fair

Its not hard to see why people that know about the last three brand on the table above, go with the sub with nearly equal performance, but with a fair price, which = happy/smart buyers.

I Lol'd at RE's price being fair. For used equip yes, but retail pricing from dealers on RE equip has gotten ridiculous since they traded hands.

I used to like their older line. Not into them as much since the prices have went up when you can get something just as good if not better for cheaper. Really is that simple.

just FYI - rockford overprices their stuff a ton. this is why people go with other brands.
its not to say that the subs\amps are bad, because they arent. people can just get better sounding subs with higher powerhandeling and more output, even LARGER subs for less money.

x2...I think I would get a good amount of their stuff if it was cheaper...
