I too honestly appreciate any sort of fabrication, build ups, tear downs, etc. And the following is an honest question, and asked with all due respect:

Why not just use the newer black van? Please excuse any ignorance as I have never built and or really even seen the inner workings of a competition van, so was there a ton of work done to the remainder or back half of the original "yellow"van that you wanted to salvage? Again, the question was asked with all due respect, I am just very curious and interested. Thanks

Because the original yellow van is one of the most well known and classic Extreme vehicles on the planet. They wanted to keep the same van and transform it into a music vehicle.

If they just built another van it wouldnt be the same. All the time, blood, sweat, and tears into the 20hz van they just needed to bring it bacj, and another van would be just that... Another van.

been a while since I've updated the build.. so here goes

Here is an update on the door panels for starters...

We're fortunate enough to have a CNC machine at the shop so we figured we'd take advantage of it.

Makes things a little easier when cutting things out...lol

However you also spend ample time drawing out the design and into the program.. but its all good.

I just had to cut out a box for an 18" woth a jigsaw! I wish I had a CNC machine.

thanks for the offer of the additional subs but I think we'll manage with the 24 15s we have..lol

we are looking forward to hearing them as well.

the dash is going to have more than double the mid/highs that the doors have actually so we are confident they will be able to hang with the low end produced by the woofers.
