How do you smoke every day for four years before your 18? I have 19 year old friends that have smoked just about every day for a year or less and they are completely ****ed up stoners...

ummm i know a couple old fogies who are succesful and have been smoking 25+ years...

just cause your friends are losers doesnt mean every one that smokes is.

you misinterpreted what I said...I said nothing about everyone who smokes being a loser. I was asking how someone can find themselves smoking that much before puberty...and I doubt anyone you know who smokes and is successful, smokes every day

In the first paragraph.

You're supposedly unbiased, yet when you begin discussing the different terminology used by smokers it is obvious you are biased. Using sentences like "What it all boils down to is a vicious cycle of culture, which will never fully be broken," is not unbiased. Vicious for instance, has an extremely negative conotation and represents your true feelings on the subject- not to mention you probably wrote "vicious" as a filler word, or for lack of a better adjective. Truth is it wasn't needed at all.

I hope you wrote the paper in High School, because any college teacher who calls themselves a professor would never give you an A.

you misinterpreted what I said...I said nothing about everyone who smokes being a loser. I was asking how someone can find themselves smoking that much before puberty...and I doubt anyone you know who smokes and is successful, smokes every day

My dad actually. He's been smoking for over 2 decades. He's owned his own business for 7 years before he sold it. He's working for a huge company and has gotten promotedf 3 times in less than 2 years (with over $20,000 in raises going along with them). They are paying for all his moving expenses. People pay him to travel as his clients. Hes succeeded at everything he's done so far, while smoking every day. Almost at least.

He also does it in moderation, he doesn't get blown out every day. And only after work/chores have all been completed and he wants to relax after a 12 hr day and watch tv.
