The RE Consultation Threads must STOP!

If you want to stop the stupid questions you'll have to educate the newcomers. And the existing stickies don't do enough. Really, someone will have to dedicate some time to come up with some serious fundimentals. Using the subs as an example, link to BCAE on how a woofer works. Then explain how power affect output. Explain how when comparing different sized woofers in varying numbers that the total air volume moved (or actually compressed) is what is important. Again, you guys are getting stupid questions or redundent questions because people don't yet know how to tie there shoe laces (that is a metaphor).

Oh yeah and all the comments about use the search, have you guys actually tried it, it sucks! You seach for one thing and you have to read through pages of stuff before you get what you need. I personally don't have that kind of time. I have learned more by being helped by a few of you and by reading bcae (which you may want to recommend as required reading for membership here) then by any seach I have ever done and in less time.

Some people just like to see their own posts. Some are just too lazy to use the search. No matter what you do it won't change. The same thing happens in the install forum on sub wiring even tho there's a sticky at the top of the page.

Besides that the search here is kinda lame. Can't search for small words like RE or CDT etc. It's a pain.

RE just happens to be the current boner. Before that it was W7 vs whatever.

Don't get your panties in a bunch. Ignore them and let the noobs fight each other. This forum format lets you hover the cursor over a thread title and preview it without wasting your time... it's a great feature.

Have you noticed that this Subwoofer section of the Forum has become a RE Consultation thread?
Everyday it's....

- 12" this or 15" that

- Which is Louder???

- Which is Better???

Admins you GOT to do something about this!!

I propose a "This or That" section as an addition to this "Car Audio Disscussion" because it's getting out of hand.

And for support i ask if anyone agrees by voting and expresing your comments.

you can search the small words by going re**. i think i'm gonna go with the diamonds. guess now i'll have to search the enclosure forum.

At first no, i use to do it.

But i don't read everypost, but just looking through the titles, it does bother me.

I use the subwoofer forum to read about review (i know there is a review section), personal experiences, new subs, sub **** n such.

I guess i'm just *****ing, but it's a suggestion

Yes, it is rather annoying when you open up a page, and 85% of the topics on it have been answered just withing the past week.

the brahma vs. xxx is getting pretty old. there is no way to fix it. newbs aren't going to search. i don't mind reading vs. threads but not the xxx vs. brahma.
