I dont know about that...Cop cars arent very fast, its mostly the traffic that screws everyone from gaining a lead. They had to start using the LX notchbacks in Cali in the 80-90's cause of the people in fast cars were loosing the POS Vic's etc..

Those cars dont have much more than a drysump oil system, under-drive pulleys, ECU, and some sticky tires..

the crown vics Scottsdale PD drives have the 4.6 interceptor engine in them... basically the cobra engine without the blower, but with just as much horse. sure theyre not the quickest, but what do you drive? a minivan, good luck getting away in that.

I know around here there's one cop that has a few different cars. One is a Taurus (yes, that's right) and one is a Corvette, and I dunno about his others. At the PU campus there's a cop that drives a nice Firebird and there's also a cop that has a "POS" supercharged Crown Vic.

thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard. did you NOT watch the OJ Simpson chase? i mean, how many cops do you think are in your town. how many cops do you think the squad car can contact in 1 minute. all of them. and you will get caught man. so stop tryin to be a badass, or a retard, and get some common sense.
