When the ref called it a touchdown on the field, he established that the offensive player had possession of the ball. Since possession is not something that can be reviewed by replay, the call could not be overturned. It wasn't a touchdown but according to the rules they couldn't change the call on the field.

Either way, the Packers got handed a touchdown earlier in the game by a BS pass interference call as well. They didn't get screwed, they just got screwed last.

Sorry, simultaneous possession cannot be reviewed. So when 2 players go to catch the ball at the same time, whatever the ref calls on the field cannot be reviewed or overturned.

So yes, Golden Tate did not have possession. But once the ref ruled that he did, it could not be changed.

Still doesn't change anything though, the refs still fuq'd it up H core.

3rd worst call post replay. The 2nd was the BS call in Miami vs NO when the guy clearly fumbled at the 5yd line and they still ruled it a TD and the 1st is shitty fumble by Rothlesburger in Miami when he fumbled in the endzone, Miami recovered and somehow the ball was given back to Pitt at the 1yd line.

With regular refs the Seahawks still win that game. On GB's touchdown drive there were PLENTY of bad Pass interference calls, it should've never even came down to that last second bomb. Yes, it was clearly an interception, not arguing that, but Seattle outplayed green bay all game and got ***** by the refs on GB's td drive.
