She is saying it will take like at least a year.

I hate women. How can any one set a time frame for somthing like this? Is she looking for a way to escape? Normal people would not set a time frame for when you to can try again. It would be when you clean up and go from there. Just my pesos on the whole ordeal.

Hopfully you do clean it up and be there for your wife and kid.

Its because I would be fine for like six months or whatever, then go back, and she wants to see if I can do it for longer, do it for good.

I never like followed up on any addiction services before, Im thinking of going to the AA style meetings too......every little thing should help, and this is make it or break it time now.

Kind of sucks she wont be there to help you through it. She just up and left? Hey at least effort is being made And a kid on the way normally gets you to get on track. Good luck man.

man I was in a 14 month inpatient drug rehap when my daughter was born... having a child was a big wake up call... I hope you can stop your tendency to use drugs to cope with life... I have been clean and sober for almost 5 yrs now and I thank my daughter for it...

You have seriously got to kick the drugs. As good as they may seem, they only hurt your life. They give you a little while of feeling good and then your back to real life....no offense but deal with whats going on and don't resort to drugs to get through...there are other ways. What is better to you...getting high for a couple of days or spending the rest of your life with the love of your life and watching your child grow up? That kid doesn't need to grow up without a father. I don't care how good a drug makes you feel, once your child is born you will feel no greater joy.....

I mean, she will be there to support me emotionally or whatever......She left because this keeps happening, as in I KEEP DOING IT. Im hoping everything works out, I just went and saw her while she was on her break from work.....good to see her, ****ing breaks me in half that she's not coming home to me when she gets off.

I have to remake myself, basically.......and earn every bit of her trust back.

3 weeks ago I had a seizure and heart attack from doing to much XTC.

I still paid my ****ing bills.

It must just be a coincidence that 2 or so days a go a member posts a thread asking why you are ignoring him and then you come on with a pity thread.

I've had friends that go thru real problems, parents dying, parents being murdered, girlfriend being murdered, baby being murdered, house burning down, going from millions to pennies.. did they ****in resort to drugs and crying on the internet? no dude.

People have serious problems and learn to deal with them instead of just running from them..

U deserve no pity from us.
