Well idk about yall but maybe some people have problems because you treat them like shit..the only problem i had was that ToxicTuan used his for competition and forgot to put those little things on the backplate and it shorted out and ever since that the only time ive had a problem was when it overheated once but of course that was with windows down after sitting in my work parking lot being like 100 degrees outside other than that no problems and mine is bolted to my box....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif i guess it either works or it doesnt

dude its powerbass...lol...seriously come on. Correct me if im wrong but same stuff as boss audio.
in powerbass' defense mounting the amp on the box or close to the sub could cause this.

Maybe because I'm running a sealed box but my box doesn't vibrate at all; it's the rest of the car that does.

In continuence of my powerbass sucks thread, I will at least today mention that I recieved great customer service from them finally. I talked to Kevin in the parts department today, and he was able to find and scavange some parts for my powerbass amp. We even setup an account with them via their billing dept, and got that straightened out pretty well.

So while yes, ive had my share of pain in the *** problems with powerbass, Kevin really did go out of his way to help me out.

ok so its what like 3 or 4 people saying that there amp messed up?

i would say 3 or 4 broken amps out of say 100 isn't bad, what is that like 4% especially if u got it fixed, so when u got it fixed did it work? or did it break again?

People are too quik to judge and give companies a bad name in my opinion. Rated power has nothing to do wt stuff breaking on the amp, so who cares about a db here or there.

bottom line

If u don't like something don't use it, don't try to drag everyone else into the mix and give companies a bad rap.

We've had 8 Powerbass amps fail, some over and over. I personally have one of their amps with capacitors falling off the board... What part of shitty build did you miss //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Last time I looked, a forum was to discuss problems or good experiences with equipment so that other people can learn from your mistakes or make good choices with future purchases. If you dont understand that, you might want to try some other type of fourm.....maybe knitting?
