The starting D is old. But they have youngins on the team that can play.I belive the rest of the draft, after round 1 will be on the D. That is of course if they don't trade tham all away.

 

As for the QBs. Simms is actually really good. Just not a good scheme for him. In a place like Detroit, he would thrive. Maybe he will be in a trade??

 

We have 5 QBs under contract right now for training camp.

I am a huge Tampa Bay fan, but believe me when I say this. Chris Simms sucks! He is not his dad, nor will he ever be close even if he had a couple decent seasons under his belt, which I doubt will ever happen. His timing is always off, he has trouble learning plays and just fails under pressure. Only thing he has is a missle launcher for an arm, but so does vick and well Simms Dont have legs like Vick, lol! Why do you think they have 5 qbs under contract. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Jeff Garcia will probably get the nod, but they may give Simms a chance, but I dont think he will last long.

To teabag, yeah their defense is getting older, but have some good talent coming up. Then Brooks still has some years left, Rice will have better year than last and Still have one of the best corners in the game in Barber and Brian Kelly who will be healthy this year. Then we just picked up Cato June, who is a tackling monster, so that will take stress of Brooks and Quarles which will lead into one of the best linebacker core in the NFL.

With that said, I hope they pick up Joe Thomas, could use some offensive line help.

If Detroit does take CJ, Tampa take Admas and they trade later on. Tampa can afford to pay for a 2nd pick and Detroit has to pay less for a 4th pick.

 

Win win situation.
