was that a joke???? to me pro football is like pro wrestling: its entertainment an they get paid way to much for it. watching HS/College football is the only way you can see people do what they do because thats what they like, there is no medium there for them to play, just for the game. i personally cant stand to watch pro ball b/c you see so many people just half *** on the field. there is way to much drama there. they're a bunch of fvckin diva's out there.../rant

I think you have a point here but are pretty much wrong. For all those players in college that play for the love of the game, what happens to them? They go to the NFL. It's true that money does complicate things, but almost all these guys play for the love of the game. If we were talking about basketball, then I would agree with you, but that doesn't happen in football. If you half *** a play then you will be on the ground hurting. There is no room for that. The few divas out there (TO, Pacman, etc) give a bad name to the sport and unfortunately the media loves putting that on there rather then the guys who do things like charity work. Thats why those "overpayed divas" notion exists.

I hope detroit trades down and gets Quinn. As much as I detest Quinn as a choke artist they don't need another reciever in detroit...they need someone to deliver the ball. It's a shame that IMO one of the best WR in the NFL is stuck on a louzy team.

if you look at kitna's stats, he wasn't that bad.

quinn is not very good. maybe in martz offense he can succeed, but weiss was one of the best offensive minds in the NFL. quinn will most likely get worse coaching in the NFL. also when did notre dame beat anybody? they got pwnd by michigan and LSU, and quinn looked bad.

their will be good QB's in the 2nd round that can learn behind kitna.

also i heard tampa offered a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 08 1st for detroit's pick. if they offered that you have to take it.

Yeah I will take 4200 yards passing anyday of the week.

I agree with you that there are plenty of qb's in the second round. Beck, Edwards, Stanton are all possibilities. It's not like they have to start day 1 anyway. Kitna will be there to mentor them, just as he did with Palmer in Cincy. They really need to take that trade if they want to turn around their organization.

no because roy williams is from texas. i want to see more then 1 good season before i annoit roy williams as the best wide receiver. also consider he plays in martz offense where mike furrey caught 98 passes

CJ is the absolute opposite to Randy Moss, as far as attitude. Not only is he amazing on the field but he never talks back and does alot of work with charities. There is 0 chance the he becomes Moss. As good as Roy Williams is, CJ is better. Faster and better hands. Thats not taking anything away from Roy because he is a great receiver, but CJ is that good. I have never seen anyone with his combination of everything. His hands are as good as they get. I watched alot of tape on him and some of the catches this guy makes is straight up ridiculous. He rarely drops a ball.

I totally agree with you. I think if they really focus on their offensive line they can turn things around. Kevin Jones is a really good back when healthy and Tatum Bell should be able to get the job done.

i think roy williams is a good player, i just don't like him. when you score 6 points against seattle and say you were so close to scoring 40, i mean what the hell? then he talks shit about chicago and they get pwnd, then he *****es about the fans during the millen man march, well does he expect from a sorry franchise?
