Singler is from Oregon and he plays for Duke. I'm from Oregon and I have little use for Oregonian players who don't play for the locals. On the other hand, Oregon State has defeated UNC twice for the College World Series title the last two seasons, so it's not like I have any love for the Heels either.

These are not my two favorite teams but they do play great basketball, so I'll just hope it's a classic and that we get to see them play each other in the ACC tournament, after which we all will see them do well during March Madness for another rematch perhaps. The rivalry does lend itself to a good storyline this season.
