Is this the next big technology for the already cluttered dash?

When a bunch of Silicon Valley venture capitalists threw down a bounty of $5 million last month for a device that would enable drivers to check e-mail while on the road....

What do you think? I don't see it going over very well, except for traveling salesmen. Like there already aren't enough distractions while driving. What about "cell phone laws?" Will this skirt the law because it is technically "Hands Free?"

Just a few questoins. What do you think?
