So much for RE being the same company no matter what. They get all this rep from the internet and what do they do? They jack up the prices past retail equipment. Sure you probably wont find another sub like this in the retail market. But what good is a small internet company if they can't produce quality inexpensive equipment...

How heavy is it? How much power will it require? What size box? What type of driver is it? How much will it cost? What are the TS parameters?

As far as I'm concerned we just bumped the december thread. We still have no info on it just a pic and a confirmation?

I must say though, I am rather perturbed the people at RE flat out lied to me about the model number of the new sub a few months back when I called to confirm or deny ng's original claim.

They have 3 other subwoofer lines that are more then reasonably priced.

It takes money for R&D, assembly, machining of custom parts, etc. to build such a driver. Look at the W7- wonder why it's so expensive? They didn't just slap off the shelf parts together and call it a day.

Lets verify the prices beyond a rumor before we all start bashing them for their prices, eh? And even at 650, that's cheaper than the famed W7, for what appears to be grossly more performance (from the specs we have seen so far). Some people will just spin this as another reason to bash the popularity of RE, no matter what. *shrug*

Assumtion on the price is 650ish, So I wrote how they are increasing prices.

Then I asked for confirmation of the price, parameters so we can stop assuming things...
