As much as I hate DD, they aren't bad sounding woofers at all. It's all in the application.

yeah these subs are nuts...doin a lil low in SPL right now...but im peaking at 41hz...which is lower than the L7's...i have to work on that note tomorrow to get it up. only did a 150.6 in spl on the new TL today meca style. but it's one mean mean mean daily driver in this box.

yeah and they'er 2 9512e's. i beat on them for an hour and a half on the drive home from wisconsin from a show tonight....and they didn't even smell, full blast too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

OMG those things must pound, my buddy had 9515 in a huge box with 4 areo ports powered by a memphis 1000D and it only tickled the sub, but it was still loud as hell

150 is a pretty decent score btw, but you probably got a lot more potential with those subs and amps

never done an exact side by side but i've owned or used both and i'd bet a fare amount that a 9512 could **** an Sx. i say that in terms of sheer db drage style SPL .
