Tigers certainly need offense. They have been rumored to be interested in either Dunn or Willingham. I would love to bat Dunn 4th behind Cabrera. However, the Tigers have a lot of DH types. Luke Scott has also been rumored to go to Detroit.

Talk about consistency, Dunn has 4 straight seasons of 40 home runs, and is on pace for 41. 40 home runs, 400 OBP, 550 slugging, 950 OPS, would be welcome in the lineup. Write him in #4 behind Cabrera.

Tigers acquire Washburn for Luke French and Mauricio Robles. Neither was projected to be great, so not a bad deal for a 3 month rental. Washburn is having a great season.
