Was at the longest home Ironbirds game ever last night, went 12 innings and they lost 14-10. (Cal's minor league team)

If they want to make a serious run they will need to obtain a couple players including a all star calibur pitcher, and a clutch hitter that can drive the ball to all feilds. they lost today to detroit.

Ill ge at the sox game august 2nd vs the yanks.

They Twins are also withing striking distance. They need a good starter and one or two releivers to make a run.

I dont think the tigers will win that divison.

Tigers rejected a trade from Toronto that would send Halladay to Detroit in exchange for Porcello, Perry, and Crosby.

Not sure how I feel. A rotation of Halladay, Verlander, and Jackson would devastating. The Tigers could trade Halladay next season, or let him walk and take the picks.

Crosby is a very highly rated pitcher in single A, but he is coming off TJ surgery. Perry is nothing more than a reliever. Porcello is the real sticking point. He has shown signs of being a good pitcher and is only 20.

Leyland is Verlander's ***** now...Leyland has a problem of watching the **** pitch count too much. Tho Verlander has given him a chewing a few times. The last week he pitched, if you watched closely. After verlander pitched he went into the dugout, and the Rodney started to warm up. Well Verlander went to Leyland, and they had a lil chat...and Rodney was not in such a hurry to warm up anymore

But halladay would be nice, and Mags will be gone soon I'm sure too
