look for the twins to take the AL this year. delom young is starting to hit and liriano is getting his control right and Mauer is the best hitter in baseball and morneau is one of the best clutch performers in the game not to mention NATHAN.

i think they need to go after a 2nd baseman or a ss that can hit and a top notch starter.

They have been cheap in the past but the old man died and his sun is calling the shots now, plus they need to feild a excellent team for 2010 and the new stadium.

I like the Tigers chances in a short series. I'll take Verlander and Jackson in a 7 game series. The problem is, Porcello is very young and will need to limit his innings, and the rest of the rotation is not good. Zumaya is awful, and Rodney is shaky but gets the job done. The offense is bad and I don't think Detroit beats either New York or Boston who they will play in the first round. If Detroit finishes ahead of the AL West winner, they will host either New York or Boston so their chances improve since they are great at home.
