Message: <blockquote data-quote="Lugnutz" data-source="post: 6118607" data-attributes="member: 603567"><p>I like the Tigers chances in a short series.  I'll take Verlander and Jackson in a 7 game series.  The problem is, Porcello is very young and will need to limit his innings, and the rest of the rotation is not good.  Zumaya is awful, and Rodney is shaky but gets the job done.  The offense is bad and I don't think Detroit beats either New York or Boston who they will play in the first round.  If Detroit finishes ahead of the AL West winner, they will host either New York or Boston so their chances improve since they are great at home.</p></blockquote><p></p>
