I didn't read anything saying Bay is better than Manny. Where did you read that?

I personally would rather have Bay right now. His head is in the game, he puts up good numbers and don't get involved in all the BS!

Yeah dodgers have gotten rid of a lot of prospects, but they have a lot of young players on the team already in Kemp, Either, Loney, Martin. If they keep their players and Manny, they will be a contender.

Everybody says Manny's head isn't in the game but at the end of the day he produces and his teams win. Boston traded away Manny plus two prospects, so 3 players total, which indicates they must think Bay is a better player then Manny.

Perfect match, now Manny can be a douchebag on a douche team..... and in the NL we aren't gonna put up with his *** watching his homers go out, I expect a few pitches in his ear in the comming months.

Ummm, Pudge was in no way the leader. Just listening to Leyland after the trade would tell you that. Pudge was disgruntled by having to split time with Inge and asked to be traded. Not a leader to me.

I didn't see that interview. I had NO idea he was pissed about sharing time with Inge. Personally I hated the fact that Inge isn't the everyday 3rd baseman. I guess low offensive output hurt Inge as far as that goes.

Maybe Manny was right about Boston. Their stars have been shown the door recently like Nomar, Pedro, Damon and now Manny.

I think they were smart with them- why throw big contracts at them when they are on the backside of their careers? Damon is still producing at a high level, but Nomar and Pedro are not close to the players they were with the sox.

They moved on...they let Pedro go, and brought in Beckett...I think they'd do the same thing 10/10 times.

I don't know much about the sox minor system, but I don't think either prospect was high on their list.

I love Manny, I love watching him at the plate, and I love his antics in the field, he makes the game fun and exciting, but at the same time, he wore out his welcome in Boston. He proved he was a shitty team player (how many times did he fake an injury to sit out a game here and there), he openly disputed with management when he should have kept it behind closed doors, and recently he's let his play show his disdain for the organization.

I don't think anyone thinks Bay is a better player then Manny is...but they got what they could to get him out of town.

I think Bay will play great in the middle of that lineup. He has put up some impressive numbers in the past in a shitty lineup...stick him with Ellsbury, Pedroia, Lowell, and Ortiz, and I think he'll be very productive.

I hate Manny!!! I hate the Angels almost as much. The Yanks gotta play 'em quite a few more times this year also. They gotta **** good team and always seem to have the Yanks number. Ponson throws a great game and they can't give him 2 run sfor support!!! AHHHHH!!

Bay almost homered (from what i can tell in the 12th ended up with a tripple and scored the winning run. agree with savage about manny he is an awesome player...hope he does well in doger blue.. manny is up for his first at bat now
