Torii Hunter is one of the best outfielders in the game. He can be a huge diffrence maker and not to mention he has been hitting the ball better the last couple years. Not sure why he makes more than him, but to me Gurrero is nothing but a glorified DH.

Angels picking him up and keeping the rest of what the have if their pitching does what they did last year will be hard to beat.

I was really pushing for Holliday to win MVP, but if anyone else deserved it, it was Rollins. Guy had an amazing years and is the first to hit 30hrs, 30dlbs, 20triples and have over 30 stolen bases and score the most runs in the NL. Amazing year!

Still I think Holliday should have gotten it.

I am happy though with CC winning cy young and Wedge getting manager of the year.

Yeah he does have a cannon, but he makes too many mistakes in the outfield. He seems to give up on a lot of plays to easily, but maybe that is a good thing. Hunter just seems to make spectactular play after spectactular play well not making many errors, not to mention he chases down balls not a lot of players like Gurrero could chase down. Plus his arm is pretty good as well, but not as good as Gurrero's.

So because Hunter misplays his position and has to make acrobatic catches to make up for it, makes him a great defender? Hunter is 32 and is slowing down, and his numbers are nowhere near Guerrero's and yet he makes 6 million more per? I'd be pissed if I was Guerrero right now.

Is not cause he misplays his position. Is cause someone might hit a gapper and he runs it down and sometimes he has to dive and other times he don't and catches up because of his speed. Then all the catches he has brought back from being a HR rank of there with the best of all time. He is a highlight reel and is considered by a lot of experts to be one of the best outfielders in the game. Well Tigers play the Twins 19 times a year so I've seen plenty of Torii Hunter. He plays the position shallow then has to go back on the ball because he didn't get a good jump and then has to layout or run into walls to make the catch. He is good at bringing back home runs, but not 19 million dollar good. Hell he isn't even a top 5 CF.

Ok, you are right. You know more than all the experts that say he is one of the best guys to have out there.

Who do you think is better than him?

Heck you don't have shit for left field and I am sure you will that person as well. Miles well put Sheffield in there even though he is a DH now, but used to be an outfielder. And they have Gary Matthews Jr. who is just as good, if not a better defender then Hunter.
