Why? What is wrong with Eckstein?

I personally think he is just as good as Castillo if not better. Only thing he lacks is speed compared to him.

Are you serious? Look at his stats. he has no power, he has a slugging percentage under 400, and has only batted over 300 once. He is an average defender at best.

Stick with what you know and that would be the Tigers.

I am sorry, but Eckstein surely has better power than Castillo has showed over the years. I would also take him over in the field. The guy is just as good or bad, however you look at it than Castillo. God you are truely a moron.

Humm Eckstien has 30 homeruns in 7 years and Castillo has 24 in 12. Can you do that math?

Castillo over 12 years has hit .294 and Eckstein .286, wow big difference there.

Castillo has 73 more RBi's, 10 more doubles, 30 some more triples. Really hitting wise, they are on par, but Eckstein does have more power if you can even call it that.

Also take into considertion Castillo 12 years, Eckstein 7. God you are too easy!

And about the home runs, that's roughly 4 per season for Eckstein, and 2 per for Castillo, and I won't get into the fact that those weren't 12 full season and that he played 41, 75, and 44 games in his first 3 seasons in Florida.

Don't matter dumbass, Eckstein has played 7 seasons to his 12. Even if he had played those your looking at 2 to 3 a year. The fact is that he has more power, very little more, but he does. I still would take Eckstein over Castillo and don't think the Mets would lose on that contract.
