manny is the greatest hitter of our time and you would trade him to get a rod who i think is probably going to go down as best player of all time but he hasnt been proven in the post season yet.....
id say the sox are fine how they are....lowell did tip toe around the question when he was asked what he was going to do.... he did say free agency was new to him and that hed see what happens.....after winning mvp in WS someone will show him some money.

Cleveland hasn't won shit in 43 years. Give me a break about being good. Detroit was ranked #1, Cleveland wasn't even top 10.

well hate to get off topic but cavs=finals, indians ALCS, browns should be able to win at least 6 or 7 more games this year...... i say should because they havent proven much yet other than they can score points but they are fun to watch at least...and all their impact players right now are very young.....

huh? did i miss something.... and yeah you gotta mention the guys post season problems....when he has an mvp type regular season and stays what like 5 of 50 in the post season....thats kinda an issue when ur paying a man 200 million dollars....

What are they going to do with Lugo? 9 Million per for a backup SS is nutty. I'd let Lowell walk and sign A-rod. You can always traded Manny if you can't afford that roster.

Schilling is probably gone......they already have their pitchers i forgot about Lester/Clay Buchholz/Clement...i really wouldnt worry about a-rod anyway...lowell hits in the playoffs lol

Boston had a deal with Texas to send Manny to Texas for A-rod. Boston wanted A-rod to eat some of his salary. The players union wouldn't allow it. Therefore the deal did not happen.
