Dude the major leagues are different then little league. The motion is much more violent and your arm isn't developed. Why are you two arguing against this when it has happened to many pitchers before? Also you don't reach your prime till 25.
Also pitchers 40 years ago pitched much, much more innings then todays pitchers

Pitchers only threw 70 MPH and pitched to contact. No pitcher today could pitch as many innings as some of the good pitchers 40 years ago. The game is totally different. The pitchers have much more violent deliveries. Look at Paul Byrd. He has an old school delivery. Much easier motion, but he doesn't have the velocity. That's how pitchers pitched back then. There was as much stress on the arm as todays pitchers have.

Paul Byrd has pitched in the 90's before and is constent at 87. So your telling me 3miles will break you? Please tell me another.

Clearly you know nothing of pitching. Zumaya got injured and could only throw 95-97 and got rocked. Hitting is about timing. Good pitchers mix up speeds to fool hitters. Pitchers 40 years ago were probably struggling to hit 80 MPH.

LOL there were no accurate meters back then. If so, the fastest pitches recorded wouldn't be modern day pitchers.
