No I didn't see Pedro pitch this year because he only pitched 5 games. How can you even compare Pedro when he has only pitched 5 games?
Verlander had a lower whip and BAA and gave up much fewer hits then innings pitched. Verlander is going up wheras Pedro is on the downside of his career. Verlander is closer to winning a CY Young then Pedro is.

How can you say that Verlander is better right now?

he has great movement and is hitting 93 mph...amazing after his surgery

Verlander can hit 100, has an amzing knee buckling curve, and an above average 80 MPH changeup. Verlander's whip and BAA is much lower, His K's per 9 innings are close as well, and he has proven he can dominate games, and most importantly, he can stay on the field.
