Verlander can hit 100, has an amzing knee buckling curve, and an above average 80 MPH changeup. Verlander's whip and BAA is much lower, His K's per 9 innings are close as well, and he has proven he can dominate games, and most importantly, he can stay on the field.

but...who is more consistant with dominating hitters?

who would you trust in game 7 of the WS?

you are talking about how many years of pro baseball for Verlander against Pedro's resume

I understand that we are talking about 07, but its unfair to say that Justin is better when Pedro missed most of the season rehabbing from surgery

Hudson had a good season, but if I were choosing pitchers right now, I'd still take Verlander due to his age.

I would say Verlander is better at dominating hitters. His whip is much lower, and he has given up fewer hits then innings pitched. His problem has been he tends to walk hitters.

I'd still take Verlander. CC hasn't shown he's consistent. If I'm building a team I'll take Verlander over CC, unless CC shows he can consistently put up these numbers.
