i always like sheffield, i remember when he was with the braves or dodgers a while back and he broke his pinky finger so he let it hang off the bat and i wanted to be like him so i did it too. it didnt work out to well.

you know sheffield didn't used to wave the bat around like that, but his hands were so fast that he would pull everything, so he figured out by doing that he would slow down his hands. thats pretty insane if you ask me.

Actually, it was kind of funny. Alot of their players are guys that are on the tail end of their careers.

I'm kinda liking the approach the Dodgers are taking. Bringing guys up through their organization like they used to in the old days. Russ Martin, Andre Ethier, etc. Sure they went and got some free agents but if they didn't someone else would and that would end up biting them in the ***.
