BTW: Detroits ERA at the all star break 3.46....since the all star break 4.78

Not that the White Sox have any room to talk, but just thought I'd point that out. Both teams are giving up 1.xx ER per game more since hte break.

detroit still has given up the fewest runs, and best team era, plus rogers accounts for a lot of those runs. tigers have gotten good starts out of verlander and bonderman, and robertson had a great game yesterday

I thought I already explained his problem. He's old, he doesn't have the stamina he once had. He's not going to hit spots because he's not as fresh as he was during the 1st half.

he pitches in detroit where it's a pitchers park, and the heat isn't as bad as in texas where it wears you down. in 2003 when he played in minnesota, he went 6-2 the second half. i thought i already explained this?

Bonderman didn't do too well tonight, and I give Verlander about 2 more starts, you'll see his ERA jump to 4-5 ER a game for the rest of the season. He'll finish with an ERA in the mid 3's to lower 4's.

lol you just keep hoping. leyland is sitting verlander next start so he isn't gonna wear him out. how come you don't mention this kind of thing about liriano? seeing as how minnesota is on your heels and you aren't really in striking distance of detroit right now

so bonderman has one shaky inning and you are saying isn't gonna do to well?

You didn't explain anything. His ERA since the all-star break explains enough. I don't care if he goes 12-0 the second half, that doesn't mean jack if his era is 6+ for all of those games. So I suppose Roger Clemens is a shitty pitcher right? He's got a losing record. You want to know what a pitcher is doing, look at the ERA. Not wins and losses. Also 2006-2003 = 3 years. That's the difference between a Randy Johnson throwing 97-98, and the Randy Johnson of today struggling in some games to hit 93.
