**The MLB Thread**

just cuz they were good last year doesnt mean they are going to be good again, last year 3 of their starters where cy young candidates and now i would say none of them are.
Contreras.

BTW, Garland has started pitching a lot better as of late.

edit: scratch that, he gave up 5 ER in 5 innings against the orioles last game.

They are the same group of guys with the addition of Vasquez. Who is a good #3 on any team. Are they pitching as good? No. Are they capable of pitching good? Yes. Everybody was quick to say last year that the White Sox had the best starting pitching in MLB. Same guys this year.

Yes they are capable of pitching good, but you stated that you would take the good offense and good pitching over Minnesota's good pitching and poor offense. So I was just saying that there is nothing good about there pitching this year. Yes, Contreas is having a good year, but Cy Young caliber? I dont think so, but that is just me and I am sure a lot of others would agree.

Well the theory is to get your #1 and 2 pitchers to pitch 2 games a piece if necessary. But pitchers don't typically pitch as good on 3 days rest.

#1 games 1,6

#2 games 2,7
