i want chicago to win the wild card. that means detroit will most likely play oakland, in the alds, wheras chicago would have their handsful with new york. minnesota, in a 7 game series, is gonna be tougher then chicago.

tis aint. the way it stands it would be detroit vs. boston, and new york vs. oakland. boston imo is not as good as people make them out to be. after beckett and schilling, who do they have? plus beckett has an era around 5

Becket has a 4.76 era and is 13-5, so really that isnt that bad. Schilling is pitching ok, but has been roughed up a lot this year. I think that with this new guy Lester who is 5-1 in 11/11 starts keeps up the same numbers and Wakefield stays strong that they will take that division. I like the offenese better than the Yankees. Also they have one mean *** closer in that Papelbon. That guy is impressive!! Almost 30 saves, 55 so and a .50 era is nutzzzz!

You really have no idea do you? Lol @ Minnesota being the tougher series. Minnesota = no hitting, good pitching Chicago = awesome hitting, good pitching

They are the same group of guys with the addition of Vasquez. Who is a good #3 on any team. Are they pitching as good? No. Are they capable of pitching good? Yes. Everybody was quick to say last year that the White Sox had the best starting pitching in MLB. Same guys this year.

just cuz they were good last year doesnt mean they are going to be good again, last year 3 of their starters where cy young candidates and now i would say none of them are.
