i recall last year boston was the world champs and the shit and there was this little upstart team from chicago, who came out of nowhere and won a title. not saying detroit is that team, but you gotta respect what detroit is doing cause they are over 90 games into the season and on pace for 109 wins

no no no...I never said Detroit was bad did I. And I do give credit to the pitching from the Tigers tonight...but Im saying...the sox, offensively played like crap today...Put him in again tomorrow and Im sure it would be a different story..but hey..thats part of the game...Im sure the same would go with Vasquez...HE ACTUALLY PITCHED WELL tonight...which is a rare occasion.

yeah came home from work expectin the mets had won cause I checked the internet at work and they were winning. So I turn on the tv go to SNY and see a 4 - 4 game and then watch them lose. if it wasn't bonderman's pitching, then how did chicago not hit well? i thought they did an great job. to be able to hit 2 homers off bonderman was incredible considering how well he was pitching. he had the hitters off balance all night.

imo bonderman is the tigers ace.

if you use that theory then verlander is the tiger's ace. bonderman and verlander have better stuff then rogers. rogers has to locate his pitches or else it will be a long day
