1. Rogers is old....he's going to wear down.2. Verlander has never pitched more than 130 innings in a season. So you can bet that he's going to get tired at some point.

Rogers has been old for a while and still has put up some good numbers.

Verlander is young, so he can go and will go more than 130 innings this year.

Detriot will out last chicago.

hahahaha. Honestly...Id rather take the wild card, so you guys can lose to the Red Sox, and we'll be 1 round ahead then. Good luck with em....not that im ruling out the yanks yet

dude do you not know how the playoffs work? the winner of the al central will have the best record. the winner of the al west will have the worst record in the playoffs. best record plays worst record, leaving the wild card to play the al east winner. so if you take todays standings, detroit would play oakland with home field advantage, and chicago would go on the road and play boston because they are the wild card. i believe i've explained this to you already

chicago has the toughest schedule in the league the next half, and they have 34 home games vs. detroit's 41

detroit has a really hard schedule also. I posted a few days ago. "wow , detroit has a really hard schedule" then I looked at ours....almost the same. it will be interesting. There is like no al vs nl in either schedule
