Indeed, I didn't know Penny could throw that hard. I always thought he threw around 92-95 tops. Nothing Guererro does suprises me. I've seen him hit pitches at his ankles over the wall. He hit one HR this year...the heighest point the ball reached was 36 ft.

Yeah, he's a freak. David Wright smoked a good one too.

Yes, and over all the Sox have a better offense but Tigers have the pitching. Only reason they had more pitchers in the All Star game was because Guillen picked them personally.

Standings won't matter in the post season. Kenny Rogers isn't that great of a pitcher imo. I don't think there pitching will be as strong the 2nd half. Guillen has the right to choose whoever the hell he wants, if he wants to reward his players for what they've done for him that's his perogative. When the Tigers find a way to win 90-100 games, then they might get the chance to win a world series. Until then Tigers fans should shut up. The game determined home field advantage, so it meant a little more than shit. Oh and one other thing, White Sox pitching hasn't been pretty poor this season.
